“Identi-TEA”
Dear Moms of Pre-Teens, Teens and College-Aged,
It’s easy to misplace our identities when we've been focused on our families all these years.
Identity crisis brewing?
Then it's high time for TEA!
Carolyn Jung is steeped in wisdom that comes from being a follower of Christ, a daughter of missionaries, married 43 years, mother of six, grandmother to thirteen, an actress and director in theater, and a beloved teacher (aka “Mama Jung”) to thousands of high schoolers over 16 years.
Be refreshed as Carolyn pours heartfelt humor and encouragement into us.

GEMs of Wisdom from “Identi-Tea” by Carolyn Jung, Drama Teacher at Berean Christian High School:
"Kids don’t come with instructions, but they do come with a guarantee that they will keep us on our knees in prayer!" ~ Mama Jung
Tell stories, they are a powerful way to imbed truth.
It’s easy to find our identity in our kids, as mom but our identity needs to be in God.
We cannot make our kids choose Jesus, but God always has them in His grip.
Prayer for wayward sons and daughters: “You will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32.
For the son or daughter who is not walking with the Lord: Never give up on them. Keep praying. God can use anything to restore them to Him.
Does God say “I love you even when you do not obey?” Yes. God loves us as much when we are traveling down the middle of the road as when we are off the path. Likewise, we need to reassure our kids of our love for them even when they are wayward.
When we are scared, we usually become angry. But anger can alienate.
Never give up on re-building trust. Believe the best in them not the worst. Err on the side of trust.
Create home as a haven. (The Jungs provide an every Tuesday night dinner for their growing adult family. Be the place your kids return for fellowship).
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
